Thousands of students, one square, one aftermovie.
Shot and edited an energetic aftermovie of the Beiaardcantus 2026, capturing thousands of students singing together on Antwerp's Groenplaats.
Challenge
Once a year the Beiaardcantus fills the Groenplaats with singing students — an event whose scale and atmosphere are hard to put into words. The aftermovie had to capture that energy and make everyone want to be there for the next edition.
Approach
We covered the event from multiple angles: wide shots that show the scale of the square against the cathedral, and close-ups of the sashes, the songs and the crowd. The edit follows the rhythm of the event itself, from the first song to the last.
